We recognise our legal duties under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and all relevant UK health and safety regulations. We will take all reasonably practicable steps to prevent accidents, injuries, and work-related ill health.

This policy sets out our commitment to managing health and safety effectively within our staffing and outstaffing operations.

3. Responsibilities

3.1 Director

The Director, Oleg Popov, has overall responsibility for health and safety within WORKERCO UK LTD.

The Director is responsible for:

  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable health and safety legislation
     
  • Implementing and reviewing this policy
     
  • Providing adequate resources for health and safety management
     
  • Ensuring that workers receive appropriate information, instruction, and training
     
  • Investigating serious incidents and near misses
     

3.2 Management and Staff

All employees and staff are responsible for:

  • Taking reasonable care of their own health and safety
     
  • Cooperating with management on health and safety matters
     
  • Following all health and safety instructions and procedures
     
  • Reporting hazards, incidents, and unsafe practices
     

3.3 Workers (Placed on Client Sites)

All workers supplied by WORKERCO UK LTD are required to:

  • Follow all client site health and safety rules
     
  • Use any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided
     
  • Report hazards, accidents, and near misses immediately
     
  • Not engage in unsafe behaviour
     

4. Risk Assessment and Client Sites

We work with clients to ensure that:

  • Suitable and sufficient risk assessments are in place at all client sites
     
  • Workers receive appropriate site inductions before starting work
     
  • Any specific hazards related to the role are clearly explained
     
  • Necessary PPE is provided and used
     
  • Emergency procedures are communicated to all workers
     

We reserve the right to withdraw workers from any site where serious health and safety concerns are identified.

5. Training and Induction

We ensure that:

  • All workers receive basic health and safety awareness before placement
     
  • All workers receive a site-specific induction from the client
     
  • Workers are informed about hazards relevant to their role
     
  • Workers understand how to report accidents and concerns
     

6. Accident and Incident Reporting

All accidents, incidents, and near misses must be reported immediately to:

  • The client site supervisor
     
  • WORKERCO UK LTD (via info@workerco.uk or 020 8064 4089)
     

We will:

  • Record all reported incidents
     
  • Investigate serious incidents
     
  • Cooperate with clients and authorities where required
     
  • Comply with RIDDOR reporting requirements where applicable
     

7. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Where required:

  • PPE will be provided by the client or WORKERCO UK LTD
     
  • Workers must wear PPE as instructed
     
  • PPE must be used correctly and maintained
     
  • Any damaged or missing PPE must be reported immediately
     

8. Health & Safety Communication

We encourage open communication on health and safety matters.

Workers and staff can raise concerns:

  • Directly with site supervisors
     
  • With WORKERCO UK LTD management
     
  • Confidentially via info@workerco.uk
     

No worker will suffer any detriment for raising genuine health and safety concerns.

9. Monitoring and Review

We will:

  • Monitor health and safety performance
     
  • Review incidents and near misses
     
  • Review this policy annually or after significant changes
     
  • Update procedures where necessary
     

10. Compliance

WORKERCO UK LTD is committed to complying with:

  • Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974
     
  • Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999
     
  • RIDDOR
     
  • Working Time Regulations
     
  • Any other applicable UK health and safety legislation
